Functions with alcohol are required to purchase Host Liquor Liability Insurance in the amount of $2 million. Renters are required to name both Ardrossan Memorial Hall and Strathcona County as additional Named Insured on their Certificate of Insurance.

Flowerbeds surrounding the Memorial Hall were nominated in summer of 2011 as a judging entry to the Edmonton Horticultural Society Garden Competitions. The entry won 3rd prize! Communities in Bloom Judges presented a recognition award for Hall friendliness, environment and enthusiasm about the Ag Society, and preserving the history of the "Community Hall".
The award reads: "2011 Congrats to Ardrossan Memorial Hall for the quality, care and beauty of your property. Communities In Blooms Judges."
